Storytellers’ Club at Pleasance Islington. Sunday 1st April, 2012: “PLAYING THE FOOL”.
Storytellers’ Club is a club for people who like stories. Its monthly London home is Pleasance Islington. And there, you’ll find a series of smashing line-ups to inspire the mind, and warm the cockles of your heart.  Storytellers’ Club: you show, we tell.

Sunday 1st April, 2012: “PLAYING THE FOOL”.
A special April Fool’s Day edition of Storytellers’ Club, featuring tales of spectacular misfires, pranks and long-cons. When best-laid plans go entertainingly wrong – the best you can hope for is a cracking anecdote. And tonight we celebrate these with some of our favourite fools.
Show starts: 8pm (arrive from 7pm for catch-ups in the lovely Pleasance bar).
Tickets:  £ 8 / £6 concession.
Pleasance Islington, Carpenter Mews, North Road, N7 9EF. Nearest tube: Caledonian Road (Piccadilly line)

Joining us by the fireside are:

* ROBIN INCE (king of the alterno-comedy scene)
* ALEX EDELMAN (NYC comedian, currently blitzing it in the UK with his whimsical word-smithery)
* BEN TARGET (a surreal soul and utter gentleman)

* JAMES DOWDESWELL (clever and cool stand-up, as seen on Russell Howard’s ‘Good News’)
………. and your host & narrator………….
* SARAH BENNETTO (writes stories; tells them at you; sees magic in everyday moments)
